How to prepare IGI Model 900

Model 900 is the periodic IGI return: output IGI less the input IGI you are entitled to deduct. The real work is not filling in the form; it is keeping the period registers correct.

How it works4 steps
  1. The registers build automaticallyEach invoice and expense enters the appropriate register with its treatment as you create it.AndCompta does it
  2. Check the periodCheck expenses awaiting classification and documents that have not yet been recorded.AndCompta does it
  3. Freeze the return snapshotAndCompta preserves the exact state of the data. If anything changes afterwards, it flags the difference.AndCompta does it
  4. !File it yourselfUse the prepared figures in the Government's online procedures. You do it

As is usually done

The usual pattern is to reach deadline week, export everything to a spreadsheet, total it by rate, and hope the figure makes sense. If it does not, the search for the missing document begins.

With AndCompta

The registers build from the first day of the period. In deadline week, you review items awaiting classification and trace every amount back to its source document.

You do this part: AndCompta does not file Model 900 for you. It calculates and prepares the figures; an authorised person files through the Government's online procedures using their own identification. Any tool claiming otherwise today deserves scrutiny.
