Only the document is printed, without the rest of the page.

01

Required fields

  • Separate numberingKept separate from the invoice series because this document is not an invoice and must not use that series.
  • Issue dateInclude the transaction date when it differs from the issue date.
  • Issuer detailsName or legal name, NRT and full address.
  • Recipient detailsInclude the recipient’s NRT when they are a business or professional.
  • Line-by-line detailDescription, quantity, unit price and taxable amount for each item.
  • ValidityHow long the offer remains valid. Without an expiry date, it cannot be treated as lapsed.
  • Acceptance termsWhat happens when the customer accepts: scope, deadlines and exclusions.
02

When to use it

Before starting any work that is not immediate. A quote accepted in writing prevents disputes about scope when the invoice arrives.

03

What this template doesn't do

A quote is not an invoice and must not use the same numbering series. This template does not track its expiry or acceptance status.

When the template falls short

In AndCompta, numbers are assigned automatically without gaps, IGI enters the quarterly register as you invoice and the PDF you issued is preserved exactly as it was.
