Annual accounts
The statements summarising a company's financial position and performance at the end of the year.
They include at least the balance sheet and income statement in the forms required by Andorran rules. They are prepared, approved, and filed.
An example
The accounts for the 2026 financial year are drawn up once the accounting for that year has been closed.
The typical mistake
Leaving them until the end without first closing the period. Annual accounts prepared from open books are not reliable.
How it appears in AndCompta
The balance sheet and income statement can be generated at any date from the same ledger balances, without a separate spreadsheet, and every figure drills down to its journal entries.
